CHUCK SCHUMER TRIES TO BE COOL
In a vapid attempt to not lose his senate seat to a rising AOC. Chuck Schumer on Thursday posed with Elizabeth Warren and Ayana Presley, trying to urge President Biden to cancel 50k in student loan debt. This would normally be a big deal if Schumer was not coming up for re-election soon. So, in an attempt to save his own ass he has now decided to stand up for working-class families to end student loan debt.
I, a person with a brain just wishes Schumer had made this same plea the last time the Democrats had control of the 3 branches of government, but now that we are getting closer to breaching almost 2 trillion in student loan debt has he decided to step in and say something.
Most major countries have had some form of free public college for years now. America is already lagging behind on so many things. You would think keeping the economy running would be its number one priority. Since it took precedent over keeping people from dying during a global pandemic. Yes, even the democrats forced people back to work so the “economy’ wouldn’t collapse and send us into a great depression.
So in closing, I just wish these shills would learn that it's not the act of pretending you care about something that makes you loved by millions. It’s the courage to stand up for what’s right even when everyone else is yelling at you about “How will we pay for it?” As we inch closer to his re-election I look for Chuck to start calling for Biden to pass a Medicare for all bill.
